Torte

Lemon Curd
A dessert spread or topping usually made with egg yolks, fresh lemons, sugar, salt, and butter.
Tiered Cake
Multiple, differently sized cakes stacked atop one another to create height and drama.
Layer Cake
A cake with two or more layers of batter with icing or another filling between them.
Ganache
A rich chocolate glaze, icing, sauce, or filling for pastries made from fine chocolate and heaving whipping cream. It was introduced in 1869 in France.
